Last week was really tough for me, mentally and emotionally. I feel like those two go hand in hand. If I am struggling mentally, my emotions are WILD, and if I am in a good place emotionally I can handle my thoughts and attitude better. I’m sure you can relate!
So last week was rough. But here we are and it’s a new month and it’s fantastic! My husband and I have been starting a diet and I’ve already been able to see some great changes from taking control of my food. I’ve also seen an increase in my Instagram followers for the blog which made me so excited! I also had a few really great experiences where I’ve had people approach me for advice on handling ADD/ADHD and Anxiety in daily life scenarios. It makes me feel so happy to know that because I am speaking loud about these subjects, people feel comfortable approaching me about it in their own lives. Lastly, I was hired for a new job and am finally over the interview stages (can we say MEGA anxiety attacks?!). I’m going to post-pone my thoughts about starting a new job and being overwhelmed and anxious about making new friends. I know that sounded like I was 5 years old trying to make new friends, but it makes me feel comfortable to like the people I work with! I’ve decided to set aside one night to be worried about the new job and get it all out and then move on to the excited part. So besides that one night, May looks GREAT! I am trying to make some new changes in my life to become a healthier, better “me”. Any tips are definitely appreciated! Also, look out for my blog post in a few weeks about job interview tips for the wildly anxious! I’m definitely looking forward to writing that one since it was such a fresh memory.
As today is Monday and I’ve started my week off extremely productive, I wanted to share some of my most favorite Motivational Quotes with ya’ll. If you ever need to feel like a kick trash kinda woman (or man of course!), these quotes will definitely inspire you to make those changes and get up and do something about the situations you are in. For some reason, sometimes my positive affirmations don’t get me and I have to hear it from someone else. There’s something about having someone say “YOU CAN!” and the feeling that some author out there in the universe believes in you and it’s not just you and your mom. Hi mom. Feel free to pin these images and share with your friends and family! I know a little quote love goes a long ways!
